The country Haiti has, for decades, suffered greatly and been frequently exposed to caustic bouts of violence. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. As a result, being exposed to a plethora of social, political, and economic difficulties. Eighty-five percent of the population lives on less than two US dollars a day. The cost of food is already more than the average Haitian person can afford. This poster depicts a photograph of a sack of rice full of bullet holes. The bag leaks grains and blood. I want to symbolize the human capacity for violence when faced with starvation and devestation.
